Bob Sweeney (full name: Bob Sweeney; no nicknames) played center/right wing from 1987 until 1996 for the Boston Bruins, Buffalo Sabres, New York Islanders and Calgary Flames. He played for the Bruins from 1987 - 1992, Sabres from 1993 - 1995, Islanders in 1996 and Flames in 1996. Over 10 seasons, he played 639 games, scored 125 goals, and made 163 assists. Born in Concord, Massachusetts on January 25, 1964, Sweeney stands 6-3 and weighs 200 lbs. He was drafted by the Boston Bruins in the 6th round (123rd overall) of the 1982 NHL Entry Draft.
