Bob Seeds (full name: Ira Robert Seeds; Suitcase Bob) played outfielder and first baseman from 1930 until 1940 for the Cleveland Indians, Chicago White Sox, Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees and New York Giants. He played for the Indians from 1930 - 1934, White Sox in 1932, Red Sox from 1933 - 1934, Yankees in 1936 and Giants from 1938 - 1940. Over 9 seasons, he played 615 games, hit 28 home runs, drove in 268 runs, and stole 14 bases. Born on February 24, 1907 in Ringgold, TX (All Transactions), Seeds stood 6' 0" and weighed 180 lb.
