Bob Pettit (full name: Robert Lee Pettit Jr.; Bob) played Forward-Center from 1955 until 1965 for the Milwaukee Hawks and St. Louis Hawks. Over 11 seasons, he played 792 games, scored 20880 points (26.4 ppg) and grabbed 12849 rebounds (16.2 rpg). Pettit also dished out 2369 assists (3.0 apg), made steals (0.0 spg), and blocked shots (0.0 bpg) during his career. Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on December 12, 1932, Pettit stands 6-9 and weighs 205 lbs. He attended high school at Baton Rouge in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and college at Louisiana State University. He was drafted by the Milwaukee Hawks in the 1st round (2nd pick, 2nd overall) of the 1954 NBA draft. He was inducted into Hall of Fame as Player in 1971.
