Bob Oldis (full name: Robert Carl Oldis; no nicknames) played catcher from 1953 until 1963 for the Washington Senators, Pittsburgh Pirates and Philadelphia Phillies. He played for the Senators from 1953 - 1955, Pirates from 1960 - 1961 and Phillies from 1962 - 1963. Over 7 seasons, he played 135 games, hit 1 home runs, drove in 20 runs, and stole 0 bases. Born on January 5, 1928 in Preston, IA, Oldis stands 6' 1" and weighs 185 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on April 28, 1953 and he played his final game on September 29, 1963.
