Bob O'Farrell (full name: Robert Arthur O'Farrell; no nicknames) played catcher from 1932 until 1935 for the New York Giants, St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds. He played for the Giants in 1932, Cardinals from 1933 - 1935, Cubs in 1934 and Reds in 1934. Over 21 seasons, he played 1492 games, hit 51 home runs, drove in 517 runs, and stole 35 bases. Born on October 19, 1896 in Waukegan, IL, O'Farrell stood 5' 9" and weighed 180 lb. He attended Waukegan (Waukegan, IL) (All Transactions) high school.
