Bob Nieman (full name: Robert Charles Nieman; no nicknames) played leftfielder from 1951 until 1962 for the St. Louis Browns, Detroit Tigers, Chicago White Sox, Baltimore Orioles, St. Louis Cardinals, Cleveland Indians and San Francisco Giants. He played for the Browns from 1951 - 1952, Tigers from 1953 - 1954, White Sox from 1955 - 1956, Orioles from 1956 - 1959, Cardinals from 1960 - 1961, Indians from 1961 - 1962 and Giants in 1962. Over 12 seasons, he played 1113 games, hit 125 home runs, drove in 455 runs, and stole 10 bases. Born on January 26, 1927 in Cincinnati, OH, Nieman stood 5' 11" and weighed 195 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on September 14, 1951 and he played his final game on October 3, 1962.
