Bob Moose (full name: Robert Ralph Moose; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1967 until 1976 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. He played for the Pirates from 1967 - 1976. Over 10 seasons, he started 160 games, won 76 games, struck out 827 batters, and had a 3.50 ERA. Born on October 9, 1947 in Export, PA, Moose stood 6' 0" and weighed 200 lb. He attended Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA) high school and was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 18th round of the 1965 amateur draft.
