Bob Lorimer (full name: Bob Lorimer; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1977 until 1986 for the New York Islanders, Colorado Rockies and New Jersey Devils. He played for the Islanders from 1977 - 1981, in 1982 and Devils from 1983 - 1986. Over 10 seasons, he played 529 games, scored 22 goals, and made 90 assists. Born in Toronto, Ontario on August 25, 1953, Lorimer stands 6-1 and weighs 200 lbs. He was drafted by the New York Islanders in the 9th round (129th overall) of the 1973 NHL Amateur Draft.
