Bob Kennedy (full name: Robert Daniel Kennedy; no nicknames) played rightfielder and third baseman from 1939 until 1957 for the Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Indians, Baltimore Orioles, Detroit Tigers and Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the White Sox from 1939 - 1957, Indians from 1948 - 1954, Orioles from 1954 - 1955, Tigers in 1956 and Dodgers in 1957. Over 16 seasons, he played 1484 games, hit 63 home runs, drove in 514 runs, and stole 45 bases. Born on August 18, 1920 in Chicago, IL, Kennedy stood 6' 2" and weighed 193 lb. He attended Morgan Park (Chicago, IL) high school. His debut was on September 14, 1939 and he played his final game on September 29, 1957.
