Bob Kelly was one of the players of the Flyers who contributed to their two consecutive Stanley Cup championships in 1974 and 1975. Along with teammate
Dave Schultz, Kelly was one of the team's top contributors to these successes.
Kelly scored the 1975 cup winning goal at 11 seconds into the 3rd period of game 6. He was with the Flyers until the 1979–80 National Hockey League seasons when he was then traded to the Washington Capitals. He then played with the Capitals until the middle of the 1981–82 season.

Bob Kelly (full name: Bob Kelly; no nicknames) played left wing from 1974 until 1979 for the St. Louis Blues, Pittsburgh Penguins and Chicago Black Hawks. He played for the Blues in 1974, Penguins from 1974 - 1977 and Black Hawks from 1978 - 1979. Over 6 seasons, he played 425 games, scored 87 goals, and made 109 assists. Born in Fort William, Ontario on June 6, 1946, Kelly stands 6-2 and weighs 195 lbs. He was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2nd round (16th overall) of the 1967 NHL Amateur Draft.
