About Bob Houbregs:
Bob Houbregs (full name: Robert J. Houbregs; Bob, Houby) played Center-Forward from 1954 until 1958 for the Milwaukee Hawks, Baltimore Bullets, Fort Wayne Pistons, Boston Celtics and Detroit Pistons. Over 5 seasons, he played 281 games, scored 2611 points (9.3 ppg) and grabbed 1552 rebounds (5.5 rpg). Houbregs also dished out 500 assists (1.8 apg), made steals (0.0 spg), and blocked shots (0.0 bpg) during his career. Born in Vancouver, Canada on March 12, 1932, Houbregs stands 6-7 and weighs 210 lbs. He attended high school at Queen Anne in Seattle, Washington and college at University of Washington. He was drafted by the Milwaukee Hawks in the 1st round (2nd pick, 2nd overall) of the 1953 NBA draft. He was inducted into Hall of Fame as Player in 1987.
