About Bob Hess:
Bob Hess (full name: Bob Hess; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1975 until 1984 for the St. Louis Blues, Buffalo Sabres and Hartford Whalers. He played for the Blues from 1975 - 1981, Sabres from 1981 - 1982 and Whalers in 1984. Over 8 seasons, he played 329 games, scored 27 goals, and made 95 assists. Born in Middleton, Nova Scotia on May 19, 1955, Hess stands 5-11 and weighs 180 lbs. He was drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the 2nd round (26th overall) of the 1974 NHL Amateur Draft.
