Bob Halkidis (full name: Bob Halkidis; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1985 until 1996 for the Buffalo Sabres, Los Angeles Kings, Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Red Wings, Tampa Bay Lightning and New York Islanders. He played for the Sabres from 1985 - 1989, Kings from 1990 - 1991, Leafs in 1992, Red Wings from 1994 - 1995, Lightning from 1995 - 1996 and Islanders in 1996. Over 10 seasons, he played 256 games, scored 8 goals, and made 32 assists. Born in Toronto, Ontario on March 5, 1966, Halkidis stands 5-11 and weighs 205 lbs. He was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the 4th round (81st overall) of the 1984 NHL Entry Draft.
