Billy Werber (full name: William Murray Werber; no nicknames) played third baseman, shortstop and leftfielder from 1930 until 1942 for the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, Philadelphia Athletics, Cincinnati Reds and New York Giants. He played for the Yankees from 1930 - 1933, Red Sox from 1933 - 1936, Athletics from 1937 - 1938, Reds from 1939 - 1941 and Giants in 1942.
