He played for the Dodgers from 1950 - 1956, Orioles from 1956 - 1959 and Giants from 1960 - 1961. Over 11 seasons, he started 139 games, won 80 games, struck out 645 batters, and had a 3.89 ERA. Born on December 13, 1929 in Long Island City, NY, Loes stands 6' 1" and weighs 165 lb. He attended Bryant (Queens, NY) high school. His debut was on May 18, 1950 and he played his final game on September 14, 1961. Common misspellings of his name include billie Billy William Loes.
