Billy Cordell Grabarkewitz is a former professional Major League Baseball player who hails from Lockhart, Texas. Born on January 18, 1946, he is a throws and bats with his right hand. He went to St. Mary’s University and Southwest Texas State University.  

Grabarkewitz made his Major League Baseball debut on April 22, 1969 for Los Angeles Dodgers. According to many reviews, he had his best season in 1970, when he was just starting with theDodgers. He was a starting baseman that season and he was chosen to be part of the National League All-Star because of his impressive performances. Statistics prove that it was his best season when he became the team’s leader with a record of .289 batting average and an on-base percentage of .399. He hit 17 home runs and had 84 runs batted in. He also was named best in terms of strike outs made with 149.  

According to sources, he also played for California Angels in 1973, Philadelphia Phillies in 1973-1974 seasons, and Chicago Cubs in 1974. He made his last Major League Baseball appearance on April 25, 1975 with Oakland Athletics which he joined in 1975. He made a career record of .236 batting average, 28 home runs and 141 runs batted in.
