Bill Voiselle (full name: William Symmes Voiselle; Ninety-Six and Big Bill) played pitcher from 1942 until 1950 for the New York Giants, Boston Braves and Chicago Cubs. He played for the Giants from 1942 - 1947, Braves from 1947 - 1949 and Cubs in 1950. Over 9 seasons, he started 190 games, won 74 games, struck out 645 batters, and had a 3.83 ERA. Born on January 29, 1919 in Greenwood, SC, Voiselle stood 6' 4" and weighed 200 lb. He attended Ninety-Six (Ninety-Six, NC) (All Transactions) high school.
