Bill Tuttle (full name: William Robert Tuttle; no nicknames) played centerfielder and third baseman from 1952 until 1963 for the Detroit Tigers, Kansas City Athletics and Minnesota Twins. He played for the Tigers from 1952 - 1957, Athletics from 1958 - 1961 and Twins from 1961 - 1963. Over 11 seasons, he played 1270 games, hit 67 home runs, drove in 578 runs, and stole 38 bases. Born on July 4, 1929 in Elmwood, IL, Tuttle stood 6' 0" and weighed 190 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on September 10, 1952 and he played his final game on May 11, 1963.
