Bill Trotter (full name: William Felix Trotter; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1937 until 1944 for the St. Louis Browns, Washington Senators and St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the Browns from 1937 - 1942, Senators in 1942 and Cardinals in 1944. Over 7 seasons, he started 31 games, won 22 games, struck out 158 batters, and had a 5.40 ERA. Born on August 10, 1908 in Cisne, IL (All Transactions), Trotter stood 6' 2" and weighed 195 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on April 23, 1937 and he played his final game on September 22, 1944. Common misspellings of his name include William Bill billy Felix Will William Trotter.
