Bill Stein (full name: William Allen Stein; no nicknames) played third baseman, second baseman and first baseman from 1972 until 1985 for the St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago White Sox, Seattle Mariners and Texas Rangers. He played for the Cardinals from 1972 - 1973, White Sox from 1974 - 1976, Mariners from 1977 - 1980 and Rangers from 1981 - 1985. Over 14 seasons, he played 959 games, hit 44 home runs, drove in 268 runs, and stole 16 bases. Born on January 21, 1947 in Battle Creek, MI, Stein stands 5' 10" and weighs 170 lb.
