William Roberts is a former American professional football player who played as guard for several teams in the National Football League; the New York Giants, New England Patriots and the New York Jets. Being born in Miami, Florida, Robinson took his college studies when he attended the Ohio State University.

He played for the Braves in 1966, Yankees from 1967 - 1969, Phillies from 1972 - 1983 and Pirates from 1975 - 1982. Over 16 seasons, he played 1472 games, hit 166 home runs, drove in 536 runs, and stole 71 bases. Born on June 26, 1943 in McKeesport, PA, Robinson stood 6' 2" and weighed 189 lb. He attended Elizabeth-Forward (McKeesport, PA) high school. His debut was on September 20, 1966 and he played his final game on May 23, 1983. Over his career, Robinson made $13,750.
