Bill Rigney was a former professional baseball player who also worked as a manager in the Major League Baseball. He was born as William Joseph Rigney on January 29, 1918 in Alameda, California. He became part of the New York Giants team in the Major League Baseball in 1946 and stayed with the team until the 1953 season. According to many statistics, he had his best season in 1947 when he logged 17 home runs and 24 doubles in 130 games that he appeared in.
