Bill North (full name: William Alex North; no nicknames) played centerfielder from 1971 until 1981 for the Chicago Cubs, Oakland Athletics, Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants. He played for the Cubs from 1971 - 1972, Athletics from 1973 - 1978, Dodgers in 1978 and Giants from 1979 - 1981. Over 11 seasons, he played 1169 games, hit 20 home runs, drove in 640 runs, and stole 395 bases. Born on May 15, 1948 in Seattle, WA, North stands 5' 11" and weighs 185 lb.
