About Bill Laimbeer:
Bill Laimbeer (full name: William Laimbeer Jr.; Bill, Lambs) played Center from 1981 until 1994 for the Cleveland Cavaliers and Detroit Pistons. Over 14 seasons, he played 1068 games, scored 13790 points (12.9 ppg) and grabbed 10400 rebounds (9.7 rpg). Laimbeer also dished out 2184 assists (2.0 apg), made 710 steals (0.7 spg), and blocked 965 shots (0.9 bpg) during his career. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on May 19, 1957, Laimbeer stands 6-11 and weighs 245 lbs. He attended high school at Palos Verdes in Palos Verdes, California and college at University of Notre Dame. He was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 3rd round (21st pick, 65th overall) of the 1979 NBA draft.
