Bill Kennedy (full name: William Aulton Kennedy; Lefty) played pitcher from 1948 until 1957 for the Cleveland Indians, St. Louis Browns, Chicago White Sox, Boston Red Sox and Cincinnati Redlegs. He played for the Indians in 1948, Browns from 1948 - 1951, White Sox in 1952, Red Sox in 1953 and Redlegs from 1956 - 1957. Over 8 seasons, he started 45 games, won 15 games, struck out 256 batters, and had a 4.73 ERA. Born on March 14, 1921 in Carnesville, GA, Kennedy stood 6' 2" and weighed 195 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on April 26, 1948 and he played his final game on September 29, 1957.
