Bill Gardner (full name: Bill Gardner; no nicknames) played center from 1981 until 1989 for the Chicago Black Hawks, Hartford Whalers and Chicago Blackhawks. He played for the Black Hawks from 1981 - 1986, Whalers from 1986 - 1987 and Blackhawks from 1988 - 1989. Over 9 seasons, he played 380 games, scored 73 goals, and made 115 assists. Born in Toronto, Ontario on March 18, 1960, Gardner stands 5-10 and weighs 180 lbs. He was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 3rd round (49th overall) of the 1979 NHL Entry Draft.
