Bill Gadsby (full name: Bill Gadsby; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1951 until 1966 for the Chicago Black Hawks, New York Rangers and Detroit Red Wings. He played for the Black Hawks from 1951 - 1955, Rangers from 1955 - 1961 and Red Wings from 1962 - 1966. Over 20 seasons, he played 1248 games, scored 130 goals, and made 438 assists. Born in Calgary, Alberta on August 8, 1927, Gadsby stands 6-0 and weighs 180 lbs. He was inducted into Hockey Hall of Fame as Player in 1970.
