Bill Dietrich (full name: William John Dietrich; Bullfrog) played pitcher from 1933 until 1948 for the Philadelphia Athletics, Washington Senators and Chicago White Sox. He played for the Athletics from 1933 - 1948, Senators in 1936 and White Sox from 1936 - 1946. Over 16 seasons, he started 253 games, won 108 games, struck out 660 batters, and had a 4.48 ERA. Born on March 29, 1910 in Philadelphia, PA, Dietrich stood 6' 0" and weighed 185 lb. He attended Frankford (Philadelphia, PA) high school.
