Bill Bonham (full name: William Gordon Bonham; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1971 until 1980 for the Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds. He played for the Cubs from 1971 - 1977 and Reds from 1978 - 1980. Over 10 seasons, he started 214 games, won 75 games, struck out 985 batters, and had a 4.01 ERA. Born on October 1, 1948 in Glendale, CA, Bonham stands 6' 3" and weighs 190 lb. He attended Francis Polytechnic (Sun Valley, CA) high school. His debut was on April 7, 1971 and he played his final game on July 26, 1980. Common misspellings of his name include William Bill billy Gordon Will William Bonham.
