Bert Haas (full name: Berthold John Haas; no nicknames) played first baseman, third baseman and centerfielder from 1937 until 1951 for the Brooklyn Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds, Philadelphia Phillies, New York Giants and Chicago White Sox. He played for the Dodgers from 1937 - 1938, Reds from 1942 - 1947, Phillies from 1948 - 1949, Giants in 1949 and White Sox in 1951. Over 9 seasons, he played 721 games, hit 22 home runs, drove in 263 runs, and stole 51 bases. Born on February 8, 1914 in Naperville, IL, Haas stood 5' 11" and weighed 178 lb.
