Bernard Robinson is an American professional basketball player who hails from Washington D. C. Robinson is currently a free agent; he played for two teams in the National Basketball Association; the Charlotte Bobcats and the New Orleans Hornets. He studied at the University of Michigan at college, where he played college basketball and being prominent for helping the Wolverines to make it to the 2004 National Invitational Tournament by the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Robinson is listed at 6 ft. 6 in. and 210 lbs. Robinson started his professional career in basketball when he was drafted in the National Basketball Association by the Charlotte Bobcats during the 2004 NBA Draft held on June 24, 2004, where he was the 2nd round pick of the said team.
During the 2004-05 NBA seasons, Robinson appeared in 31 games. Robinson was dealt to Jeff McInnis of the New Jersey Nets on January 3, 2007. Robinson got into an accident in the 2007 offseason, which causes the collateral ligament in his left knee to tear. And on October 2007 he, along with then teammate Mike Ilic, was dealt to David Wesley of the New Orleans Hornets, after which, both players were waived by the Hornets.

Robinson also dished out 126 assists (1.0 apg), made 109 steals (0.9 spg), and blocked 16 shots (0.1 bpg) during his career. Born in Washington, District of Columbia on December 26, 1980, Robinson stands 6-6 and weighs 210 lbs. He attended high school at Dunbar in Washington, District of Columbia and college at University of Michigan. He was drafted by the Charlotte Bobcats in the 2nd round (16th pick, 45th overall) of the 2004 NBA draft.
