Benoit Brunet (full name: Benoit Brunet; no nicknames) played left wing from 1989 until 2002 for the Montreal Canadiens, Dallas Stars and Ottawa Senators. He played for the Canadies from 1989 - 2002, Stars in 2002 and Senators in 2002. Over 13 seasons, he played 539 games, scored 101 goals, and made 161 assists. Born in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec on August 24, 1968, Brunet stands 6-0 and weighs 203 lbs. He was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2nd round (27th overall) of the 1986 NHL Entry Draft. Brunet officially announced retirement on October 25, 2002.
