Ben Hendrickson is a professional baseball pitcher and has appeared in the Major League Baseball. Hendrickson is from St. Cloud Minnesota and usually occupies the starting pitcher position. Hendrickson is a right-handed player and debuted in the MLB for the Milwaukee Brewers. Hendrickson was drafted during the 1999 MLB Amateur Draft by the Milwaukee Brewers in round four.
During his first season of turning professional, Hendrickson was assigned to play for the rookie affiliate of the Brewers Ogden Raptors of the Pioneer League. Hendrickson was then assigned to play for the Beloit Snappers of the Midwestern League where he was able to post an earned run average of 2.84. During the 2004 season, Hendrickson split time with the Indianapolis Indians of the International League and the Milwaukee Brewers of the MLB. Although Hendrickson’s debut season in the MLB wasn’t that impressive, he was able to post an ERA of 2.02 for the Indians allowing him to receive the Most Valuable Player award in the International League.
Hendrickson was assigned to play for the Nashville Sounds in the Pacific Coast League during the 2005 and 2006 seasons. While playing for Nashville, Hendrickson was selected as a Pacific Coast League All-Star. Other teams that Hendrickson played for were the Kansas City Royals, Tampa Bay Rays and the Minnesota Twins.
