Ben Coates (fullname: Ben Terence Coates Jr.; no nicknames) played from 1991 until 2000 for the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens. He played 158 games, starting 113 of those. Born in Greenwood, SC on August 16, 1969, Coates stands 6'5 and weighs 245 lbs. He attended college at Livingstone. He was drafted by the New England Patriots in the 5th round (124th overall) of the 1991 NFL Draft.
