Bart Starr was born on January 3, 1934 in Montgomery, Alabama, USA. he played as a quarterback for the Green Bay packers and the Most Valuable player of the first two Super Bowls. His father is an Air Force NCO.
Starr has powerfully earned four Pro Bowl selections and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1977. He played football at the Lanier High School in Montgomery, Alabama and earned a spot in the school’s Hall of Fame. When he was done with his playing career, he became the head coach of the Packers in nine seasons. He compiled a 52-76-3 record in 1975-1983. When he was Vince Lombardi’s quarterback, his Packers won National Football League championships in 1961, 1962, 1965, 1966, and 1967 seasons. He also led the Packers to victories over the champions of the rival American Football League during the first two Super Bowls. Starr was the only player to quarterback a team in five National Football League championships.
His playing career ended at the finale of the 1971 season. He worked as the assistant coach in 1972 for the Packers. He became the head coach of the team three years after the team won the NFC Central division title. They have defeated the St. Louis Cardinals 41-16 in an expanded wildcard round of 16 teams on January 8, 1983. Starr is currently the chairman of the Healthcare Realty Service.
