Barry Pederson (full name: Barry Pederson; no nicknames) played center from 1981 until 1992 for the Boston Bruins, Vancouver Canucks, Pittsburgh Penguins and Hartford Whalers. He played for the Bruins from 1981 - 1992, Canucks from 1987 - 1990, Penguins from 1990 - 1991 and Whalers in 1992. Over 12 seasons, he played 701 games, scored 238 goals, and made 416 assists. Born in Big River, Saskatchewan on March 13, 1961, Pederson stands 5-11 and weighs 185 lbs. He was drafted by the Boston Bruins in the 1st round (18th overall) of the 1980 NHL Entry Draft.
