He played for the Athletics from 1937 - 1938, Giants from 1941 - 1943 and Red Sox in 1943. Over 5 seasons, he played 207 games, hit 12 home runs, drove in 88 runs, and stole 9 bases. Born on March 2, 1915 in Clarksburg, WV, Barna stood 6' 2" and weighed 210 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on September 16, 1937 and he played his final game on July 28, 1943.
