Arthur Rhodes is a professional baseball player who hails from Waco, Texas. He was first seen in the Major League Baseball with the Baltimore Orioles which drafted him in 1991. His debut in the major league came on August 21, 1991 for the Orioles. Sources say he spent 12 wonderful years with the Orioles and then went to free agency after he was released by the team. He then joined the Seattle Mariners and finished a four-year stint with the team in 2003. In 2004, he signed with the Oakland Athletics. He only has one season with the Athletics and he was soon traded to the Philadelphia Phillies. The Athletics tried to use Rhodes as a closer but the job was not fit for him.
