Arky Vaughan (full name: Joseph Floyd Vaughan; no nicknames) played shortstop and third baseman from 1932 until 1948 for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Pirates from 1932 - 1941 and Dodgers from 1942 - 1948. Over 14 seasons, he played 1817 games, hit 96 home runs, drove in 1173 runs, and stole 118 bases.
