About Anton Babchuk Memorabilia & CollectiblesBorn on May 6, 1984, Anton Anatoliiovych Babchuk is a well-known ice-hockey player positioned as a defenseman. He is presently affiliated with the National Hockey League’s Calgary Flames together with Mikael Backlund, a great centre player from Sweden and Rene Bourque, the team’s incredible winger from Canada.
Though he had been playing since three years old in Kiev, Ukraine, Anton Babchuk officially started with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2002, where he was picked during the team’s selection. He was also able to play under the Carolina Hurricanes during his NHL phase. He had his training at a very early age under Sokil Kyiv with another renowned NHL player, Nikolai Zherdev. They had been spotted together for their amazing game reviews and observations and were referred to the Russian Major League later on.
In the 28th of January, 2006, Babchuk had his first goal, with him playing with the Hurricanes this time.
