 Anthony Gonzalez is a football player for the National Football League. Born September 18, 1894 in Cleveland, Ohio, he attended high school in Saint Ignatius High School in Ohio where he played both football and track. He was recognized as Associated Press and Cleveland Plain Dealer Co-Defensive Player of the Year and has made a school record of 27.3 yards in one catch. He was able to make 71 passes and 21 touchdowns. In college, he continued to be a football star at Ohio State University where he became an All-Big Ten member. A few NFL receivers Ted Ginn, Jr., Troy Smith, Santonio Holmes and Roy Hall played with Gonzalez in the university.

According to many reviews, he was chosen by Indianapolis Colts during the National Football League Draft in 2007 and was adopted by the team as a slot receiver. In his first year with the team, he was able to make 37 catches and 3 touchdowns and it became 57 passes and 4 touchdowns in his second year. After the Colts released Marvin Harrison, Gonzalez was given the wide receiver position together with Reggie Wayne. Unfortunately, his right knee was injured during the opening of the 2009 season. He was named as one of the team’s injured reserve in 24th of December.

Statistics shows that as of 2009, Gonzalez was able to make 94 receptions, 1,240 receiving yards and 7 receiving TDs.
