Anthony Avent (full name: Anthony Avent; A.A.) played Forward from 1993 until 2000 for the Milwaukee Bucks, Orlando Magic, Vancouver Grizzlies, Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Clippers. Over 6 seasons, he played 352 games, scored 1958 points (5.6 ppg) and grabbed 1584 rebounds (4.5 rpg). Avent also dished out 278 assists (0.8 apg), made 166 steals (0.5 spg), and blocked 211 shots (0.6 bpg) during his career. Born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina on October 18, 1969, Avent stands 6-9 and weighs 235 lbs. He attended high school at M.X. Shabbaz in Newark, New Jersey and college at Seton Hall University. He was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks in the 1st round (15th pick, 15th overall) of the 1991 NBA draft.
