Anson Carter (full name: Anson Carter; no nicknames) played right wing from 1997 until 2007 for the Washington Capitals, Boston Bruins, Edmonton Oilers, New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings, Vancouver Canucks, Columbus Blue Jackets and Carolina Hurricanes. He played for the Capitals from 1997 - 2004, Bruins from 1997 - 2000, Oilers from 2001 - 2003, Rangers from 2003 - 2004, Kings in 2004, Canucks in 2006, Blue Jackets in 2007 and Hurricanes in 2007. Over 10 seasons, he played 674 games, scored 202 goals, and made 219 assists. Born in Toronto, Ontario on June 6, 1974, Carter stands 6-1 and weighs 210 lbs. He was drafted by the Quebec Nordiques in the 10th round (220th overall) of the 1992 NHL Entry Draft.
