Andrew Quarless is an American professional football player currently playing for the Green Bay Packers posed as a tight end. Quarless was born in Uniondale New York. He attended Pennsylvania State University for his college education where he also played as tight end under Joe Paterno. As a true freshman, Quarless had a breakout season in the 2006 season. However, Quarless have had limited success in 2007 due to game suspensions and loss to Mickey Shuler of his starting position at tight end. Quarless had inadequate playing time in the 2008 season until the Illinois game when Schuler was injured and Quarless started in his place and caught a key touchdown in the 4th quarter.
Quarless started his professional career in football in the National Football League after being drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the 2010 NFL Draft held on April 22 to 24 at New York City, wherein he was the 5th round pick of the team. Quarless was listed at 6 ft. 5 in. and 253 lbs. To date, according to one sports review, Quarless career stats at the end of the 2009 season were as follows: 87 receptions, 1,147 yards, with 8 touchdowns.
