Andrei Nikolishin (full name: Andrei Nikolishin; no nicknames) played center from 1995 until 2004 for the Hartford Whalers, Washington Capitals, Chicago Blackhawks and Colorado Avalanche. He played for the Whalers from 1995 - 1997, Capitals from 1997 - 2002, Blackhawks in 2003 and Avalanche in 2004. Over 10 seasons, he played 628 games, scored 93 goals, and made 187 assists. Born in Vorkuta, Union of Soviet Socialist Republics on March 25, 1973, Nikolishin stands 6-0 and weighs 213 lbs. He was drafted by the Hartford Whalers in the 2nd round (47th overall) of the 1992 NHL Entry Draft.
