A former professional football player, Andre Rison hails from Flint, Michigan and was born on March 18, 1967. He spent a lengthy career for several National Football League teams as a wide receiver. Before he was known in the professional football field, he became a star player at Flint Northwestern High School where he set records for a number of statistics. He also played at Michigan State University and became loved by many fans for his great skills. In his last year as a player of the said university, he logged 30 receptions for 709 yards and recorded a total of five TDs in that single season.
He began his notable National Football League career with the Indianapolis Colts and soon joined the Atlanta Falcons. He also played for the Cleveland Browns and the Green Bay Packers and also had a stint with the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Kansas City Chiefs. Aside from NFL, he also played in the Canadian Football League for the Toronto Argonauts.
As a skilful player, he was named to the Pro Bowl for five seasons and was part of the Green Bay Packers’ success in the Super Bowl XXXI in 1996. He was also given the 92nd Grey Cup in the 2004 season. He ended his career with 743 receptions and 84 recciving TDs.
