A wide receiver in football of the National Football League’s Cincinnati Bengals, Andre Jerome “Bubba” Caldwell was born in Tampa, Florida. He spent his high school at the Jefferson High School where he already played football and played college football at the University of Florida. An athletic scholar of the University of Florida he played for Ron Zook and the coach of the Florida Gators’ Urban Meyer from year 2003 to 2007. He opted to play for the Florida Gators to continue the legacy of his brother Reche Caldwell, a football wide receiver and because of his friendship with Chris Leak.  He was the Fergie Ferguson beneficiary, an award given to senior footballers who shows character, courage and outstanding leadership.

 

His NFL career started when he was chosen by the Cincinnati Bengals as the 97th overall pick in the NFL Draft in 2008. He played for three seasons with the Bengals. Andre Caldwell has posted 87 receptions, 855 receiving yards and 3 receiving touchdowns.
