Amelie Mauresmo is a former world number one and is currently the third ranked player in the whole world. Mauresmo had successfully won two Grand Slam singles titles. She was born in Saint-Germain-en-Laye on July 5, 1979.
She was four years of age when she got interested in playing tennis. It was in 1996 when she was hailed as the Junior World Champion by the International Tennis Federation.
