is a star-studded asset of the Dallas Cowboys. He was born on July 6, 1967 in Lake Wales, Florida.
He caught 20 passes for 326 yards and one touchdown in his first year with the Cowboys. He also rushed once for 15 yards and caught 35 passes for 562 yards. In the next year, his individual numbers increased again to 36 passes for 777 yards and five TDs. In the same year, Dallas came back to face the Bills in Super Bowl XXVIII. It was also the time which Aikman had completed a 16-yard pass to Harper and to provide the Cowboys a first and goal at the 6 near the beginning of the fourth quarter. Harper’s best year was in 1994 when he took the lead of the league with 24.9 yards per reception average, catching 33 passes for 821 yards and 8 touchdowns.
In 1996, he had played in 25 games for Tampa Bay Buccaneers and caught 65 passes for 922 yards and three TDs. It was in 1997 when Harper played for the Washington Redskins in 12 games where he caught only two passes for 65 yards. In 1999, Harper had his final season in National Football League when he played back for the Dallas Cowboys. He ended his 8 National Football League with 191 receptions for 3,473 yards and 21 touchdowns. Harper also rushed for 15 yards, accomplished a pass for 46 yards, and recorded one interception on the defense.
