Alvan Adams (full name: Alvan Leigh Adams; Double A, The Oklahoma Kid) played Center-Forward from 1976 until 1988 for the Phoenix Suns. Over 13 seasons, he played 988 games, scored 13910 points (14.1 ppg) and grabbed 6937 rebounds (7.0 rpg). Adams also dished out 4012 assists (4.1 apg), made 1289 steals (1.3 spg), and blocked 808 shots (0.8 bpg) during his career. Born in Lawrence, Kansas on July 19, 1954, Adams stands 6-9 and weighs 210 lbs. He attended high school at Putnam City in Warr Acres, Oklahoma and college at University of Oklahoma. He was drafted by the Phoenix Suns in the 1st round (4th pick, 4th overall) of the 1975 NBA draft.
